Alcohol-3
Health record

Everything a clinician might ask about, kept in one place and in order.

Medications and doses, conditions you live with, other substances, blood test results and the documents that back them up. Assembled as you go, so it is ready when somebody asks rather than being reconstructed the night before.

Why this exists

The information exists, it is just scattered

A repeat prescription is in one app, a discharge letter is in a drawer, the blood test results came by text, and the dates are all approximate. Ten minutes with a GP is not enough time to assemble that from memory, so the appointment gets spent on reconstruction rather than on the actual question.

  • Medication names and doses are the first thing asked and the hardest to recall
  • Interactions between alcohol and prescribed medication matter and get missed
  • Blood results mean far more as a series than as one reading
  • Letters and results end up in four different places

How it works

Using health record

  1. Add your medications

Name, dose, what it is for and when you started. Repeat prescriptions, short courses and anything you take without a prescription.

  2. Record your conditions

What you live with, when it was diagnosed and how it affects you day to day, in your own words rather than in a code.

  3. Add results and documents

Blood tests with the values, plus breathalyser readings, letters and test results as files. Everything sits in date order.

  4. Share what you choose

The health record is one of the sections you can include in a report link, with the timeframe and the sections under your control.

What you get

In the app

Medications and substances

Prescribed medication, over the counter, and other substances. All of it relevant when the question is about alcohol, and all of it in one list.

Conditions

Physical and mental health conditions, with dates and your own description of how they affect you.

Blood tests

Liver function and other markers, tracked over time and judged against the reference range printed on your own report.

Evidence

Breathalyser readings, hair strand tests, letters and results, stored as files on a private store and served only to you.

Who this helps

What it changes

If you are seeing a GP about your drinking

Walking in with the medications, the conditions and a fortnight of logged units is the difference between an estimate and a record. It changes what can be discussed in the time available.

If more than one service is involved

A GP, a therapist and an alcohol service each hold part of the picture. Keeping your own copy means you are not the only thing joining them up from memory.

If you need to evidence your drinking to somebody

For family proceedings or an employer, dated readings and documents held alongside a consistent log are far stronger than a statement on its own.

Being straight with you

This is your record, not a medical record

Nothing here is verified by a clinician and none of it replaces the record your GP holds. It is a place to keep your own copy of what you know, so you can bring it to somebody qualified. Alcohol-3 does not give medical advice and does not interpret your results for you.

Common questions

Who can see my health record?

Only you, unless you deliberately create a share link and choose to include it. Files are stored on a private store and served only through your own account.

Can I include it in a report for my GP?

Yes. Medications, conditions, blood tests and evidence are each sections you can tick when creating a shared report.

Does it connect to the NHS App or my GP surgery?

No. There is no connection to NHS systems, and everything in your health record is entered by you.
